Oregano is a perennial and will bless you with fresh sweet tasting oregano year after year. It has loose, open plant growing from six inches to two feet tall with gray-green leaves and small purple or white flowers. Plant in a full sun location and good drainage is required for best growth and overwintering. It does a good job of spreading, so oregano can easily be tucked into the edge of a landscaping or used as a ground cover.

Oregano is an easy cut and come herb. One plant will provide enough oregano for cooking and making sauces for 2 people for an entire year! In the summer months I'll go out once or twice and cut back my oregano. I then dry it to use in Italian sauces and chili.

Grown in a 3 1/2” pot
