Mint - Mojito
Semi-hardy zone 6-9. This culinary herb, a native to Cuba, was previously impossible to get in North America until 2006! The scent of this aromatic herb and flavor are agreeably mild and warm, not pungent nor overly sweet like other mints. A great addition to mojitos, mixed drinks, summertime lemonade. Our kids love to have a sprig of mojito mint in their Sprite.
Recent studies have also concluded that the smell of Mint Plants has been proven to stimulate brain activity and may be useful before a test as well as in the kitchen!
