Heirloom, very rare!

Brittany's Grandparents Larry & Merrilee Wagner ran a truck patch farm just south of Warsaw during the 1990’s, Merrilee’s Produce. Her Grandpa Larry HATED picking cherry tomatoes, “it takes WAY too many to fill a pint” he growled with disgust. The flavors were always sweet like fruit. He wanted a large cherry tomato, with a nice tomato flavor. One year a volunteer plant started growing in the compost pile. It produced quarter size red tomatoes, with a simplistic tomato flavor and heavy yields. No more tiny cherry tomatoes. Perfect addition to salads, bruschetta, or just a healthy snack. So, he started saving seeds. Once we decided to start our produce farm the seeds were passed down to us. It has been a staple on our farm ever since.

In the second picture Larry's Large Red Cherry is the first tomato on the left.
