Borage

$4.50
sold out

With it's blue, star-shaped flowers, borage makes a lovely ornamental. Its young leaves have a refreshing, mild cucumber-like fragrance and traditionally been used in salads and lemonade. The flowers can be candied. We like to plant borage by our tomato plants to keep away Tomato Hornworms.

Since we started planting borage on the farm, we have found it to come up randomly year after year. So, borage will reseed itself, giving you nice effortless plants year after year.
